I founded New Wave Health because I’ve been there too. I’ve sat in that uncomfortable chair, watching the clock, knowing my time was almost up before I’d even started explaining what brought me there. I know what it’s like to leave a medical appointment with more questions than answers, feeling unheard and somehow guilty for taking up time. To Google your symptoms at 2am because no one else seems to be taking them seriously. To need healthcare that works with your life, not against it.
I’ve watched family members struggle through the same system. My mother postponing appointments because she couldn’t take time off work. My brother giving up on getting help because the process was just too hard. Friends rationing their healthcare because they couldn’t afford both the consultation fees and the time away from their responsibilities.
That’s why every decision we make at New Wave Health starts with one question: “How would we want to be treated?” Not as medical professionals, but as human beings seeking help. As someone’s mother, father, sister, brother, friend. As people with full lives, real concerns, and valid fears.
